WHAT I’M WORKING ON NOW
(Inspired by Derek Sivers)
Role: Executive & Professional ICF Coach
I’ve completed my ICF professional coaching certification program via NYU and am an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach (ACC). What an engaging 18 months of personal and professional growth! I’m excited to offer my leveled-up my skillset to health care groups, executives, professionals, creatives, and corporate teams.
I accepted a contract position at Bend Health as a Behavioral Health Coach for children and teens, working with West Coast clients, many out of Stanford University. Can’t wait to get started in February.
I did a lunch and learn to my fellow mentors at WPU Pesce Family Institute about how to create success for mentees using ICF coaching techniques this January. More on my blog.
I’m taking on professional coaching clients. Contact me about setting up a discovery session.
Role: Licensed Master Social Worker & Food Allergy Coach
Since 2006, I’ve worked with private practice life coaching clients and supported them with food allergies and anxiety.
I continue to see a limited number of private practice coaching clients dealing with issues around managing chronic medical conditions, life transitions, creative blocks, and professional challenges.
Role: Applied Improv Facilitator
I’ll be giving a series of three 90-minute improvisation and writing evening workshops at Howe Library in Hanover, NH this winter/spring.
I’m currently booking additional corporate applied improvisation workshops for Q1 & Q2, 2025. Contact me if this you.
Role: Writer/Editor
I’m writing, editing, and revising a contemporary romance novel and I’m having so much fun! My agent at Massie & McQuilkin is aiming to submit within the next few months. Stay tuned!
I’m a published nonfiction author, and my book is still in print after over a decade!
I have my MFA in Writing and Literature.
I host a weekly writing hour for my fellow MFA’ers.
I teach writing workshops.
For over 15 years, I’ve been a freelance editor, line editor, copy editor, and proofreader. Most recently, I worked for Medium.com and HelloFresh.
Role: Musical Improviser/Performer
I’ve been performing improv and musical improv since 2012.
My musical improv team, Redshirts, has been going strong since 2014. Check our Facebook and Insta pages for upcoming shows and dates.
I have two additional improv teams (The Bagelsteins & Close to Home) — it’s a joy to play with them.
Role: Mentor
I’ve been mentoring psychology majors (all women) heading to graduate programs at William Paterson University since 2014. It’s gratifying to support young women navigate school-life balance as well as prepare them for graduate school and their professional lives.
This year, I’m part of the 2024-2025 NYU Wasserman First-Gen Professional Development & Mentoring Program. My new mentee is in the BSW program, and already planning out their next fall internship. Love it!
Role: Master Home Chef & Pastry Chef (all dishes are nut-free, fish-free, and most are gluten-free)
My cooking/baking goal for 2025 is to make one new recipe a week. I adapted this focaccia recipe all summer and recently I think I found the winning flavor combo: garlic-herb with four cheese. Swoon.
